I have over 13 years of experience working with children, youth, adults, veterans, and families in a variety of settings including housing programs, community mental health, and public school systems. As a therapist, I am relational and person centered in my approach. I recognize that you are the one that is capable of making changes to reach your goals and I am lucky enough to be alongside you in your journey.
I graduated from the University of Washington-Seattle Campus in 2013 with my Master of Social Work degree. As a Clinical Social Worker, I come from a systems theory foundation which means that I recognize that stress or changes in one area of life has impact across many, if not all, other life areas. I gained much of my clinical training at my employment at Atlantic Street Center in Seattle. In my work with clients, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. Additionally, I utilize aspects of mindfulness.
In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with my family and working on our home.
